Is this a booking site or a tour comparison site?
It is a comparison site, not an operator. No minivan, cellar or seat listed here belongs to us. The job is simpler: putting the nine bookable wine tours that run from Cape Town to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl and Constantia side by side, with links to each live listing where the booking happens. Tour descriptions report what the listing publishes. Nothing on this page comes from a day out that anyone here personally took.
Does using this site cost anything?
Nothing. Reading, comparing and clicking through are free, and there is no account to create. The site earns a commission when a booking is completed after a click-through: the platform that sells the tour shares part of the commission it already receives from the operator. That share comes out of the platform's existing margin, so the price you pay matches the price on the live listing you would reach anyway. The disclosure page explains the arrangement in full, and the comparisons hold up as research whether or not you book through a link.
How do bookings on this site work?
On the live listing, never here. Clicking a tour opens the operator's own page on the platform selling it, and from there the process is the standard one: pick a date and option, pay on the platform, receive a voucher with pickup details by email. This site takes no payment and confirms nothing. It also means the listing is the authority on price, availability and terms at the moment you book, so give it a final read before paying.

Why do some tours show no price?
Because each tour is priced by date, option and group size, and a single fixed figure would mislead. Eight of the nine tours here publish a from-price, running from $34 for the Groot Constantia hop-on-hop-off pass up to $134 for the full-day tour with food. Only the private Cape Point and Constantia tour shows its price on the live listing, and this site leaves that field blank rather than guessing. The from-price is the comparison floor; the listing gives the exact figure for your date.
How do prices, ratings and refunds work?
They are from-prices taken from each live listing, so treat them as a floor for comparison, not a quote. What you actually pay shifts with the date, the selected option, group size and any extras added at checkout. Use the number here to narrow the field, then trust the listing for the final figure and currency. If a price ever looks wrong, flag it through the contact page.
Where do the ratings and prices come from?
They are the published figures from the live booking pages, copied exactly. Ratings across the lineup run from 4.6 to 4.9. Nothing is averaged or rounded to look tidier, and review counts appear as published, from 13 on the newest private tour to 2568 on the best-established listing. No testimonial shows up here unless a real traveller posted it on a real listing.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Every tour in the lineup states free cancellation, so holding a date early usually costs nothing but a click. The exact cutoff is set by each operator and shown on the listing, which is the authority for your specific option. The busiest stretch of the Cape summer and the harvest weeks are when seats go first, so if your dates are fixed, book ahead and cancel later if plans change.

Any month works, but the seasons feel different. Harvest across the Cape Winelands typically runs from late January into April. December to February is the hottest and busiest stretch, with the strong south-easter known locally as the Cape Doctor blowing often from September through March. September to November brings warming weather and thinner crowds. June to August is cooler and wetter, a quiet time for cellar visits. In peak weeks the small-group and private options fill first, so reserve ahead.
Do I need a guided tour, or can I go independently?
You can drive yourself, provided someone in your party sits out the tastings. Do tours pick up from Cape Town hotels?
It depends on which of the nine listings you pick. The multi-region day trips and the Stellenbosch-and-Franschhoek tours generally gather guests in central Cape Town before heading out, and the exact pickup point is stated on each booking page. The Groot Constantia option runs on the City Sightseeing hop-on bus network, so it ties into that route rather than a hotel collection. The Cape Point and Constantia listing is a private tour, so the start time and meeting arrangement get agreed directly with your operator. Both wine-tram tours travel out from Cape Town for the day. Who do I contact about a booking I already made?
Start with your confirmation email. It carries the booking reference, the pickup or meeting instructions, and a support channel that reaches both the operator and the booking platform holding your payment.
